Welcome to the Middle Earth! This is the outcome of the event Tea at 5 in villa (Guidini) where we explored the opportunities of the territory “beyond Venice”. A territory located in the “middle of something” – the Middle Earth, indeed – looking for its own identity, or better still soul
The province of Treviso is an enchanting territory, full of history, rivers and springs, cycle paths suitable for slow, sustainable, and inclusive tourism. The participants had the chance to test different models of inclusive bikes and to learn about digital maps. Furthermore, they discovered the role of tourists as “temporary citizens” and how to measure the impact of tourism with carbon and water footprint.
And we didn’t forget the role of art with the music for the bees and two photographic exhibitions.
